iInquire Week is an extraordinary program West Side Collaborative hosts for students each spring to promote science inquiry and investigation. For one week the school is transformed into a science institute. All week long students engage in enriching experiences including lab experiments, sailing excursions, guest speakers, films, research and visits to museums, planetariums, farmers markets and zoos. Topics featured in this year’s program included: Blast Off With Rockets, Walk on the Wild Side with Endangered Animals, Dive into the Hudson River, From Farm to Table - Doughnuts to Broccoli, Wonders of the Human Body, “Stephen Hawking” Project.
