In what has become an annual tradition, 8th grade teacher Ms. Rahiman arranged for a select group of student to visit Fordham University and attend a class taught by Dr. Mark Naison, professor of history and African and African-American studies.  WSC students participated in the class "From Rock and Roll to Hip Hop: Urban Youth Cultures in Post War America," alongside current Fordham students. Dr. Naison has written widely on politics, labor history, popular culture and education policy, and as usual, our students had much to contribute to the conversation.  Darryl McDaniels of Run DMC attended our students. The visit was topped off with lunch at Sal's Pizzeria.
