At West Side Collaborative, Curriculum Night is more than a night to explore student work and discover what students will study during the year.  It is also a night for families to come together as a community and get to know each other while enjoying a festive meal.  It is a time for staff to take pride in the achievements of our school and share their enthusiasm with the WSC families in attendance.  Here are the highlights:

Our sixth grade families contributed an amazing array of family dishes and listened as teachers shared information about the school, highlighting sixth grade curriculum and opportunities for collaboration between the school and families. It was one of the largest pot luck meals we’ve ever shared in the 6th grade.

Seventh grade families enjoyed an evening of Sandwiches, Salads, Snacks and Salsa as our teachers outlined the rigorous 7th grade curriculum and the various supports the school offers to its 7th grade students in preparing for high school.

Our 8th grade families delighted in a catered evening, sharing mocktails  and crudités as they listened to details about the  8th grade curriculum, the high school application process and  an overview of “yearlong senior activities.”
