WSC has launched a new series of workshops for parents around the theme, “Raising Middle and High School Kids in a Digital World.”  Many parents attended the first workshops, offered during  Parent Teacher Conferences.  Workshops provided an opportunity for parents to learn ways to discuss technology use, monitor technology use and identify key programs/tool that are available to make their role as "media guardians" a bit easier.

The next set of workshops will be held on April 5, 6 and 7. For additional information, click here to view the flier, or here for Spanish.  Go to http://tinyurl.com/WSCMEDIA to register online.  For additional information, please contact Ms. McClaire.

This program is designed by our partner Common Sense Media, the leading non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to helping families find the right media for them.  By providing parents with the information they need to make informed choices about the entire media landscape, Common Sense Media has become a powerful ally to help parents remain the primary influence in their kids’ lives.
