From May 16-20, West Side Collaborative transformed into a science institute. Each day was jam-packed with science learning including experiments, trips, films, and more!  Each child will become an URBAN EXPLORER completing an investigation and experiment in one of these five programs . . .  Blast off with Rockets! . . . Walk on the Wild Side with Endangered Animals!  . . . Dive into the Hudson River! . . .  Learn about the Wonders of the Human Body!  . . . Dare to Venture into the "Stephen Hawking" Project! . . . .  By taking an entire week to complete these investigations, students had the chance to learn and practice real-life, hands-on science skills and thinking processes. Students will present their findings to their peers, teachers and parents at the Science Fair on May 26.
